Biography

Born in Savannah, Georgia, Madison Baynes Hudgins began her journey as a thriving young performer at the mere age of ten years old, singing in the church loft and taking vocal lessons under Justin Addington, Huxsie Scott, and the Savannah Voice Co-OP.

Madison kicked off her career singing the National Anthem for various astute corporations and personnel, such as the Savannah Bananas, the Investiture Ceremony for United States District Judge Honorable R. Stan Baker, Major’s Summer 500, Gulfstream Veteran’s Day, Society of American Military Engineers, NASCAR Texas Motor Speedway, Juliette Gordon Low Remembrance Ceremony - Girl Scouts of America and “Beach Town” fundraiser by author Mary Kay Andrews. When asked how many times Madison had sung the National Anthem, she replied, "I'm not sure how many times I've sung it at this time but if I had to put a number to it I would guess well over 39 times."

Through high school, Madison attended the prestigious Savannah Arts Academy. During this time of her life, Madison lived back and forth between New York and Georgia, gaining her training from America's top Broadway performers with MTCA and the Joffrey Ballet Company. All the while she continued to sing professionally in Georgia for religious ceremonies, live theatre, weddings, funerals, and more. Her most requested song and the Savannah Community's personal favorite, "Sleep Holy Child" has been dubbed as the "Baby Song" by the community and remains a smash hit with Savannah natives during the holiday season.

In 2019, Madison attended her freshman year of college at the University of Nothern Colorado for Theatre Business and Playwrighting with a Minor in Dance and an emphasis in Musical Theatre graduating Summa Cum Laude under the study of Monte Black, Dr. Rand Harmon, Ryan Driscoll, John Lenord, and Dr. Andrea Moon. In school, she developed a deeper love for Arts Administration and worked backstage as a Scenic Carpenter for 5 years under Terry Kattner. She has also worked as the Administrative Assistant Artistic Director and Administrative Assistant Production Manager under Dr. Anne Toewe and Megan Van De Hey for The Little Theatre of the Rockies. In 2023, Madison was also graced with the honor of working alongside the talented Director Carrie Klofach as the Assistant Director & Dramaturg of the musical “NEW BRAIN” at the University of Northern Colorado. Later that same year, Madison met her husband, Alan Collette, a Martial Artist and former local trombonist in the Colorado Springs area. Since graduation, she and her husband have moved back to the Springs where Madison currently resides.

As a performer, Madison has won several awards throughout her stardom; her favorites include being nominated for a Shuler Award for Best Performance in all of Georgia and being a recognized soloist at the Iceland Music Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland.
